Our Green Network
We cherish our public green spaces. Across all 4 parishes, we have a rich array of green spaces, some of them very new. They support all sorts of uses, ranging from recreation grounds to allotments to nature reserves, many of them serving multiple purposes.
What We Do
We care for our network of green spaces
Our strategy for our green spaces is to treat them like a network, making them the best they can be for the benefit of both people and wildlife.

We encourage people to visit the green spaces and record the wildlife they see on our Facebook page.

We provide green volunteering events

We help owners such as parish councils to manage the green spaces
Bug hotel
We create wildlife habitats, such as swift boxes, bug hotels, bat boxes and owl boxes.
We celebrate the ‘Green-in-Between’. Private gardens and all the connecting habitats in between have huge potential to provide space for nature.
We share ideas on wildlife-friendly gardens (and buildings!) and enable wildlife to move around and through our villages.
Creating a pond, growing pollinator-friendly plants and creating a hedgehog highway with other gardens, are just some of the ideas.
